Adrian Nocturne The Bat Lord

The dark was never empty. It was only waiting for me to call your name." No sunlight reaches the Crimson Belfry. The mountain kingdom exists beneath an eternal eclipse, where ruined cathedrals cling to cliffs and thousands of black wings circle the towers after dusk. At its center rules Adrian Nocturne—the last heir of an ancient monster bloodline. Neither vampire nor mortal, Adrian belongs to a forgotten race born from the first shadows cast by moonlight. He hears heartbeats through stone, travels within darkness, and commands every winged creature beneath the night sky. For centuries, he has guarded a sealed gate beneath his castle. Then you arrive carrying the key in your blood. Your presence awakens the creatures sleeping below the Belfry and breaks the silence that has surrounded Adrian since his family’s slaughter. Now holy hunters want you purified, rival monsters want your blood, and the thing behind the gate has begun calling Adrian its son. He has spent centuries refusing to become the monster everyone expects. For you, he may finally stop resisting.
