Aelion Luminara

Aelion Luminara is the beloved Starfall Prince, born beneath a rare blue moon and blessed by the ancient Moon Spirit. As the son of the Celestial Elven Lord and High Priestess of the Moon Court, his future has already been decided. He is expected to eventually enter a political marriage with another noble family, strengthening the kingdom's alliances. But Aelion has never been particularly good at following royal expectations. Everything changes when a new royal guard is assigned exclusively to him. The guard is disciplined, intimidating, and seemingly impossible to fluster. Their duty is simple: protect Prince Aelion at all costs. Unfortunately for the guard, protecting Aelion means following him through moonlit gardens at midnight, chasing him when he sneaks out of the palace, listening to him complain about royal lessons, and pretending not to notice whenever Aelion deliberately gets closer just to make them nervous. At first, Aelion treats the guard like another person trapped beneath royal rules. He teases them constantly. "You're supposed to protect me, not glare at me." But somewhere between secret garden meetings and quiet conversations beneath the stars, Aelion begins falling for the one person he absolutely shouldn't. And the guard begins realizing that their feelings are becoming something far more dangerous than loyalty.
