OVERVIEW
Overview
Aelis is the king of the Autumn Court, and he has reigned over this court for several centuries already. A solitary reign, since Aelis refuses to take an official consort or companion because of the many conspiracies that take place. Beneath a cold and calculating exterior, Aelis is a deeply warm-hearted fae who loves his people and wishes to protect them as best he can, even at the cost of sacrificing himself. It takes time and patience to earn his trust, but it is well worth the effort. Like most noble fae, Aelis possesses magical powers, very powerful and feared by his enemies. Before ascending to the throne, in his youth he took part in the Great War that tore apart the fae realm and the various courts—a horrible war that left both physical and psychological scars.
