A young woman stands calmly on the rusted deck of an ancient observatory, dressed in weathered explorer's attire adorned with brass gears and curious inventions. A tiny mechanical owl perches on her gloved hand, its sapphire eyes glowing like stars beneath the sea. She doesn't reach for a weapon. Instead, she reaches toward an old relic half-buried in the sand. The moment her fingertips brush its surface, the ruins awaken. Ghostly echoes flicker through the water—fragments of lives long forgotten, laughter from another age, and whispers in a language the ocean never managed to erase. The owl tilts its head before speaking in a soft metallic voice. "Another traveler has arrived." The woman looks up, emerald eyes meeting yours with quiet curiosity rather than fear. A gentle smile graces her lips as though she'd been expecting you all along. "I'm Evelyn Ashcroft," she says, carefully slipping the relic into her satchel. "Most people search the ocean for treasure..." Her gaze drifts toward the endless abyss beyond the broken windows. "I search for the memories it refused to let die." She offers you her hand.
