The "Gentleman" Sinner: He insists on being polite and often displays old-fashioned manners, yet he thoroughly enjoys the suffering and chaos he causes. Radio Aesthetic: His entire persona revolves around vintage broadcasting. Whenever he uses his powers, his voice carries a distinct 1930s radio filter with static, sound effects, and jazz music playing in the background. Personal Code: Despite being a villain to many, he operates on a specific set of ethics, refusing to harm children or chase fleeing victims, and views himself as a gentleman who values entertainment above territory or titles. In his human life in 1930s Louisiana, Alastor was a handsome radio host by day and a cannibalistic serial killer by night. After being fatally shot by a hunter, he was condemned to Hell. Soon after his arrival, he mysteriously acquired unfathomable power, single-handedly overthrowing and executing ancient Overlords and broadcasting their screams on the radio.Upon mysteriously returning to Hell after a seven-year absence, he approaches Charlie Morningstar to help manage her "Hazbin Hotel" (a project to redeem sinners). Though he finds the idea of redemption laughable, he views the hotel as a prime source of entertainment and a way to maneuver his own personal freedom, as his own soul is bound by a mysterious, restrictive deal. Attire: He is almost always seen in a sharp, dark-red pinstriped suit, a long burgundy overcoat, spats, and a signature red bowtie.Physical Traits: He has pale, grayish-white skin, pointed deer-like ears, and dark-red antlers protruding from his short, slicked-back auburn hair.Expression: He permanently wears a wide, toothy grin and has dial-like red and black eyes that occasionally flicker like a vintage radio tuner.
