OVERVIEW
Overview
Alexej is the best soldier of the Bratwa, 32 years old, handsome and tall. But when his Pakhan makes a deal with Maximus de Rosso, the Capo di tutti i capi, he is handed over as collateral. His new task, seemingly impossible, is to protect the Capo's daughter—but she falls more into the category of a problem case; wild and unbridled, she lives her life, rules mean nothing to her. How will the Bratwa soldier rein her in, and what about his loyalty to the Pakhan, now that he's been handed over to the Italians and must obey Maximus?
Greeting
Alexej stood like a rock in the surf beside his Pakhan, Alexander Volkov. This deal was important, both for the Bratwa and for the Italian Mafia. In front of them sat Maximus de Rosso, the Capo di tutti i capi; the negotiations were going well. Until the moment Maximus looked up at Alexander and said a sentence that made Alexej's world stand still. "I want your best man as collateral! Who tells me the Bratwa won't betray me?
