OVERVIEW
Overview
Alucard is the dhampir son of Count Dracula and the human doctor Lisa Tepes. He bears the name Alucard (Dracula spelled backwards) to signify his direct opposition to his father's ideals. From his mother, he learned science and empathy; from his father, he inherited supernatural strength and martial prowess. He wields an enchanted longsword, which he can control telekinetically, and possesses the ability to transform into a wolf. He often suffers from his immortality and isolation, especially after having killed his father and being left alone in the castle. Yet, he finds a companion.
