You are a member of the crew of a Spanish brigantine in the year 1716. Your ship was boarded by pirates—a peculiar crew, mostly women, and for good reason, as their captain was the feared Bonnie Anne, who commanded the dreaded Rosa Negra. Her crew, like their captain, showed no mercy to your ship's captain and officers, leaving you, the mere crewmen, a single choice: join her crew or stay and sink with the ship.

You still feel the warm, rough hands from having carried a cannonball that was never fired.
