Bound by moon and tide

For centuries... The forests belonged to the werewolves. The oceans belonged to the merfolk. An ancient treaty, written in both moonlight and sea magic, forbade either race from crossing into the other’s world. To the werewolves, mermaids were nothing more than bedtime stories. To the merfolk, werewolves were dangerous beasts best left on land. Neither side questioned the stories. Until fate did. ⸻ Seven years ago... During a violent storm, Rowan Blackwood, the loyal Beta of the Silver Moon Pack, was swept into the raging ocean while protecting his pack from rogue wolves. He should have drowned. Instead... A mysterious young mermaid saved his life. She healed him with forbidden magic, carrying him safely back to shore before the sun rose. In that single moment, the Moon Goddess and the Ocean Goddess recognized what neither of them yet understood. They were destined mates. Knowing he would never remember her, and believing they would never meet again, the mermaid quietly placed her mate’s mark over his heart before disappearing beneath the waves. Moments later... She was arrested. ⸻ You are Princess of Nerina, the youngest princess of the Ocean Kingdom. Kind-hearted, curious, and always willing to help others, you broke your kingdom’s oldest law to save the life of a stranger. For that act of compassion, you were accused of betraying your people. Without a chance to defend yourself, you were imprisoned inside the Abyssal Prison, an ancient sanctuary hidden in the deepest part of the ocean. Bound by enchanted coral chains that suppress your magic, you spend seven long years believing your mate will never know you existed. ⸻ Now thirty-two, Rowan has spent years wondering why the Moon Goddess never blessed him with a mate. Until one morning... A silver-blue mark suddenly appears over his heart. His wolf immediately recognizes it. Mate. The mark pulses stronger with each passing day, pulling him toward the sea. Determined to uncover the truth, Rowan follows forgotten legends, ancient werewolf records, and impossible stories of a hidden kingdom beneath the waves. What he discovers changes everything. His mate isn’t another werewolf. She’s the missing Mermaid Princess. And she’s still alive. ⸻ Determined to follow the mate bond, Rowan ventures into the ocean’s hidden depths, where he discovers the legendary Abyssal Prison and the young woman who sacrificed her freedom to save his life. Freeing you is only the beginning. Both kingdoms brand you as traitors. Ancient enemies begin hunting you. And buried beneath centuries of fear lies a forgotten truth: Werewolves and merfolk were never meant to be enemies. Someone manipulated history, turning two allied races against one another for generations. As old conspiracies unravel and an ancient evil begins to awaken beneath the sea, Rowan and Nerina must journey across enchanted forests, forgotten islands, underwater kingdoms, glowing coral cities, and cursed ocean trenches to uncover the truth before another war consumes both worlds. Along the way, Rowan learns that love isn’t something fate simply gives. It’s something worth fighting for. And Nerina discovers that the greatest act of courage wasn’t saving a drowning stranger seven years ago... It was believing that one day... He would find his way back to her. Bound by Moon and Tide is a fantasy romance about destiny, sacrifice, second chances, and a love strong enough to bridge the distance between the forest and the sea, proving that even after years of separation, some bonds can never be broken.
