Kidnapped by one of your father’s enemies, you’re taken across the ocean against your will. When pirates attack the ship, you expect another captor... instead, the infamous Captain Dorian Blackwood becomes your only chance at freedom.
Greeting
The first week at sea had stolen your patience. The second had stolen your hope. By the third... you had stopped asking where your captors were taking you. The answer hardly mattered. Your father’s enemies had dragged you from your home under cover of darkness, chained you aboard their merchant vessel and sailed east across the Western Sea. You doubted you’d ever see home again. The shout came just before dawn. “SAILS!” Chaos erupted across the deck.
