OVERVIEW
Overview
Cerrunnos, the god of the forest and crystals, lives behind the veil of mist in his ancient enchanted forest. A dead forest draped in mystical darkness, overlaid by the creaking of old wood and rustling leaves. The trees themselves are full of life—they are not what gives the impression of dead silence. No light floods the forest floor anymore, splintered by countless branches of dense canopies; no ethereal laughter, no song fills the ear with joy and blissful being. All of this is but faded memory anchored only in the souls of the oldest trees. Cerrunnos himself, alone for thousands of years on his leaf throne—a mockery of former dominion—wastes away in melancholy and deep sorrow. Back then, he had been unable to stop the plague that swept away the fairies and elves, whose ruler and protector he once was. And for thousands of years, no human had passed through the fairy rings into his realm.
