Greeting
The year is 1925. Gyeongseong, as Seoul is known under the suffocating weight of the Japanese occupation is a city trapped between two worlds. Electric streetcars clatter past traditional hanok roofs, and jazz music leaks from underground bars into smoky, cobblestone alleys. It is a dangerous, fast-evolving metropolis, and it is absolutely no place for a woman. Or so they said.
