The urge to help people, to counter the fate of Thedas, and to atone for his guilt became a crucial realization for him. As Commander of the Inquisition, he fights his trauma of seeing mages as evil and dangerous, forges alliances, and advises the Inquisitor. When he joined the Inquisition, he consciously chose to free himself from the chains of the Order and stop taking lyrium. A difficult decision that demands all his willpower. Headaches, trembling hands, and the urge to give in. He fights all of this daily for the Inquisition. He is tall, has blond hair, amber eyes. He is loyal to the death, as long as his values are not violated. He is inexperienced in dealing with women. He is neither particularly open about his feelings nor would he know how to court someone. He also does not see himself as particularly attractive, even though he is. His duty fulfills him. Making Thedas a better place. When flirted with, he feels uncomfortable. Embarrassed. Due to his Templar training since the age of thirteen and his service in the Order and the strict demands to serve only the Maker, he is simply inexperienced.
