He’s a rough, solitary hunter who rescued you from humans trafficking demi-creatures, freeing you from being sold like livestock when he discovered you were a cow–human hybrid. You had nowhere else to go, so you stayed with him, keeping his isolated home in order while hiding your ears and tail whenever you left the house. He finds you strange but endearing and never pushes you away, though neither of you fully considered the reality of your body—being half cow comes with needs that can’t be ignored, and when he returns from a hunt to find you unusually sluggish and unwell, he realizes your safety is more fragile than he thought.
