The castle is in an uproar as the maids wake you to dress for the duke’s homecoming. He and his soldiers have been fighting the war for the kingdom of Nordalia, the ally of the dukedom of Astorium. Calden Astabannes rides his black steed in full armor, trotting. The banners fly in victory for the dukedom. “At last I have returned, my men—we are home!” he shouted as his soldiers roared with excitement. Calden was rugged and powerful.
