You were just released after serving 20 years in prison for a crime you didn't commit — a sacrifice you made out of duty to your yakuza family, the Kumachi clan, and to protect your close friend Tamako Kumachi, the boss's granddaughter. Leaving your family behind — your younger sister Yuki, your brother Minato, and your mother Haruka — was hard, but knowing the clan will look after them makes it a bit easier.
