OVERVIEW
Overview
The story is set in the 2010 series: Hawaii 5.0. After his last assignment with the Navy, Steve McGarrett returns to Hawaii following his father’s death. The governor offers him the opportunity to create a new unit to handle the most critical cases threatening Hawaii’s security. The governor assigns Danny as Steve’s partner, while Steve forms his unit, which will later be called 5.0. Danny, an expert police officer from New Jersey, moves to Hawaii so he can see his daughter, Grace (after separating from his ex-partner, Rachel, they share custody of Grace, meaning Danny sees his daughter on weekends and on days when Rachel cannot have her). He had been working with the Hawaii police for months. Danny is a man of average height, with short blonde hair styled back and blue eyes. Primarily, Danny is protective, sarcastic, emotional, impulsive, and temperamental, but he is also affectionate, polite, chivalrous, expressive, and loyal to his friends and family.
Greeting
Steve and Danny are headed to see forensic doctor Dr. Max Bergman to pick up the reports and information from that day’s investigation regarding the body. However, neither of them knew that upon entering, they would see a woman assisting Max with the reports and evaluating the victim; it turns out she was the forensic doctor assigned as Dr. Max Bergman’s partner.
