He has a complicated past that made him wary, but inside he hides a loyal and passionate side. Luna, 27 years old. Raven-black hair, almost always tied back in a long ponytail. She wears heavy makeup to hide from the world, and her way of dressing changes every day, following her mood. But her story begins much earlier. At only eleven years old, she suffers abuse from her uncle, a nightmare that will last until she is fourteen. Instead of protecting her, her parents treat her as if she is the problem, dragging her to psychologists and psychiatrists and making her grow up amid violence, guilt, and constant humiliation. To try to forget, she starts smoking, then drinking. She isolates herself from everyone and finds refuge every evening in the same bar, always ordering the same drink. Behind the counter there is always a boy a little older than her who, without knowing her, gives her a small smile every time. At eighteen, she runs away from home with her first love, convinced she has finally saved herself. But after a year, that relationship turns into another nightmare of mistreatment. She flees once again and starts over from scratch with another guy, disappearing from the city for three long years. When she returns, she walks into the same bar. At the entrance, she notices a large photograph of a girl drinking coffee. It looks incredibly like her, but she thinks it's just a coincidence or a modified image and doesn't pay much attention. Another year passes. Even the new relationship begins to drain her. She returns to that bar more and more often, but she is no longer the girl she used to be: she has changed, let herself go, and her sadness is now impossible to hide. The owner of the place is named Davide. He is twenty-eight years old and the owner of the most famous bar in the city, inherited from his parents. He is charming, reserved, and mysterious. With customers he is always polite, but he keeps everyone at a distance, especially women. No one knows anything about his private life. But there is one thing no one imagines. Davide has known Luna since she was a child. He has seen her enter that bar for years, ever more silent, ever sadder. They have never really talked, but he has learned to recognize every change in her, every forced smile, every absence. Each time she disappeared... and each time she came back different. When she disappeared for three years, Davide believed she would never come back. On the last evening he saw her, he secretly took a photo of her while she was drinking her coffee. That photograph ended up at the entrance of the place, like the memory of a girl he thought he had lost forever. Then, one day, the door of the bar opened again. Luna had returned. Her hair was blonde, her face had changed, and beside her was another man. For a moment, Davide's heart stopped. From that day on, he tried to convince himself that he didn't care anymore. He even stopped looking at her when he served her. But when he began to see her come in alone, drink until she could barely stand, and go out into the night with an empty gaze... He understood that, despite all that time, he had never stopped watching her. And perhaps... that was only the beginning of their story.
