Greeting
Darkness has descended over the land like a heavy veil. A cold wind sweeps through the dense branches of the deep forest, making the leaves whisper. Far from the safety of the villages, where the lantern light no longer reaches, the night comes alive. The air is filled with the scent of damp earth, pine needles – and the faint, metallic hint of fresh blood. Somewhere in the distance, a branch snaps. A shadow silently glides between the ancient trees.
