Dragón ball Rpg manga

An introduction to the world of Dragon Ball (following Akira Toriyama's original manga) Talking about Dragon Ball is not only talking about fights, transformations, or power levels. It’s about growth, friendship, overcoming obstacles, family, sacrifice, and adventure. The work was created by Akira Toriyama and was published between 1984 and 1995. The original manga is a single continuous story; the division between "Dragon Ball" and "Dragon Ball Z" was created later for the anime. In the manga everything is part of the same work. The story begins with a boy named Son Goku, who lives isolated in the mountains and whose life changes when he meets Bulma. Together they set out on a quest for the seven Dragon Balls, capable of summoning the dragon Shenlong and granting a wish. From there, the work evolves from a comedic adventure inspired by Journey to the West into an epic of martial arts and science fiction where the protagonists come to challenge gods, galactic emperors, and monsters capable of destroying universes. --- 1. Krillin From an insecure rival to a brave hero and family man. --- The essence of Dragon Ball If everything in Dragon Ball had to be summed up in a single idea, it would be this: > Each character fights to become a better version of themselves. Goku seeks to surpass himself. Vegeta seeks redemption. Piccolo learns to love. Gohan learns to be brave. Krillin learns to believe in himself. Even many villains end up changing thanks to the people they meet along the way. That is why, beyond transformations and battles, Dragon Ball remains a story about personal growth, friendship, family, and the desire to keep moving forward no matter how many times one falls. That level of detail for all the main, supporting, and villainous characters in Dragon Ball would be comparable to an encyclopedia of hundreds of pages. The best way to do it well is to divide it into parts. I will start with the first major section: the fundamental characters of the original manga, describing their physical appearance, personality, psychological evolution, abilities, combat philosophy, relationships, and legacy. Later I could continue with a second part dedicated to all the important supporting characters and then a third part exclusively dedicated to all the villains (Pilaf, Tao Pai Pai, Piccolo Daimaoh, Raditz, Nappa, Freezer, Cell, Majin Buu and his forms) with the same level of depth. --- SON GOKU (KAKAROT) Son Goku Physical Appearance Childhood Spiky black hair. Gohan – The story of human potential. --- And that covers the main characters. The next part could focus on all the important supporting characters (Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chaoz, Yajirobe, Launch, Videl, Goten, Dende, Karin, Kami, Mr. Satán, etc.) and then a third part exclusively dedicated to all the villains (Pilaf, Tao Pai Pai, Piccolo Daimaoh, Raditz, Nappa, Freezer, Cell, Majin Buu and his forms) with the same level of depth. Dragon Ball: Complete Guide to Supporting Characters (Part 2) In many works, supporting characters exist to back up the protagonists. In Dragon Ball, however, many of them have development arcs so important that they could star in their own stories. Some were even rivals of Goku before becoming his most loyal allies. --- YAMCHA Yamcha Physical Appearance First appearance: Long, disheveled hair. Facial scars. A desert bandit look. Athletic build. Dragon Ball: The Great Villains of the Manga (Part 3) One of the reasons why Dragon Ball has remained relevant for decades is the quality of its antagonists. Each villain represents a different obstacle for the heroes’ growth. Some symbolize ambition, others hate, tyranny, artificial perfection, or absolute chaos. Villain Symbolizes Pilaf Childish ambition Tao Pai Pai Professionalism without morals Piccolo Daimaoh Terror and tyranny Vegeta Destructive pride Frieza Absolute oppression Cell Arrogant perfection Majin Buu Chaos and destruction It is interesting that each one forces the heroes to grow differently: Tao teaches Goku humility, Piccolo Daimaoh teaches him the pain of loss, Vegeta shows him the weight of his Saiyan heritage, Frieza awakens the Super Saiyan, Cell transforms Gohan into a hero, and Buu completes Vegeta’s redemption and the passing of the torch to a new generation. Dragon Ball Super within the timeline of the manga Before starting, there is something important: Dragon Ball Super takes place chronologically between the defeat of Majin Buu and the final epilogue of the original manga, that is, before the last chapter where Goku meets Uub. Therefore, all the adventures of Super are set within that period of peace, which originally seemed very short in the classic manga. Moreover, the Dragon Ball Super manga and anime have important differences. Here I will focus mainly on the manga version, written by Akira Toriyama and drawn by Toyotarou. --- 1. Beerus, the God of Destruction Saga Main Villain Beerus New Characters Whis Beerus Importance This saga completely changes the scale of the universe. Up to that point it seemed that Goku had reached the top, but Beerus shows that beings exist who are immensely superior. --- Goku’s Evolution Physical He obtains: Super Saiyan God – a state based on divine energy. His goal: to exterminate all mortal life. --- Trunks’ Evolution Future Trunks – he is once again the emotional heart of the story, fighting for a doomed future. --- Goku’s Evolution He begins to understand the responsibilities associated with divine powers. --- 5. The Tournament of Power Saga Conceptual Villain The elimination of universes. New Characters Jiren Toppo Caulifla Kale Importance It is the biggest tournament in the entire franchise, with warriors from multiple universes participating. --- Goku’s Evolution Ultra Instinct – the greatest technical breakthrough of his career, where the body acts without thinking. --- Vegeta’s Evolution He obtains: Super Saiyan Blue Evolution, and more importantly, he stops trying to be Goku and accepts being Vegeta. --- Jiren Represents the exact opposite of Goku. He can absorb energy, drain planets, and consume life. --- Importance He forces Goku to truly perfect Ultra Instinct. --- Merus One of the most important characters in Super. His relationship with Goku is very reminiscent of Master Roshi’s. --- 7. The Granolah the Survivor Saga Main Characters Granolah Gas Elec Granolah – the last survivor of the Cerealians. --- Motivation Revenge. He believes the Saiyans destroyed his people. --- Vegeta’s Evolution Here one of his greatest developments occurs. The protagonists once again become Gohan and Piccolo. --- Important New Transformations in Super Character Transformation Goku Super Saiyan God Goku Super Saiyan Blue Goku Ultra Instinct Vegeta Super Saiyan Blue Evolution Vegeta Ultra Ego Freezer Golden Frieza Piccolo Orange Piccolo Gohan Beast Gohan --- The most important new characters in Dragon Ball Super God Level: Beerus, Whis Warrior Level: Hit, Jiren, Granolah Villain Level: Zamasu, Goku Black, Moro, Gas --- The ultimate evolution of the protagonists in Super Goku – He goes from seeking power to seeking mastery. Ultra Instinct represents technical perfection. Vegeta – He goes from chasing Goku to finding his own identity. Ultra Ego represents accepting who he truly is. Gohan – He learns to balance family, intelligence, and combat. Piccolo – From demon to hero. From hero to mentor. From mentor to the ultimate protector of Earth. Freezer – Remains the great monster of the franchise, continuously evolving and adapting even after decades. In many ways, Dragon Ball Super transforms the original story of martial arts and science fiction into a cosmic epic where the protagonists no longer compete to be the strongest on Earth, but to understand their place within a hierarchy that includes gods, angels, parallel universes, and powers that transcend the mortal.
