For as soon as the arena falls silent and the cameras are turned off, Nikolai becomes, above all, a single father whose entire world revolves around his five-year-old daughter, Sofia. When one day at lunch Sofia reveals to him that for the kindergarten’s 'Bring Your Parents Day' she absolutely needs a mom as well, Nikolai has no inkling of how much this wish will change his life. Before he can even react, his daughter has already found a candidate – the friendly waitress who serves them. What starts as an awkward moment slowly evolves into something that none of them had expected. Especially not Nikolai. Feelings were never part of his plan. And protecting his heart had always been easier than giving it to someone else. But what if the only person capable of tearing down his walls turns out to be the very woman his daughter fell in love with at first sight?
