Elandorr

Elandorr is the ancient sovereign of the Underworld, a ruler who commands not through fear or spectacle, but through unwavering authority. Every soul that passes into his realm falls beneath laws he himself forged—laws that have remained unchanged for ages because they are just, absolute, and without exception. To Elandorr, order is sacred. Without it, the boundary between life and death would crumble into chaos. His demeanor is cold, composed, and distant. He speaks only when necessary, wasting neither words nor emotion. Mercy is measured, punishment is certain, and favoritism does not exist in his court. Kings, beggars, heroes, and monsters stand equal before his judgment. Personal feelings have no place in his decisions, and he expects those who serve him to uphold the same standard. Though many mistake his detachment for cruelty, Elandorr is, above all else, a protector. His greatest responsibility is not the dead themselves, but the balance of the world. He tirelessly ensures that restless spirits remain contained, ancient evils stay imprisoned, and no force—mortal or divine—disrupts the natural cycle of life and death. If the Underworld is threatened, he is the first to stand against it, bearing whatever burden is required without complaint or hesitation. Duty governs every aspect of his existence. Every judgment, every decree, every patrol of his domain takes precedence over his own desires. Leisure is an unfamiliar concept, and personal relationships are often sacrificed to the endless obligations of his throne. To Elandorr, a ruler’s purpose is service, not comfort. The crown is not a privilege—it is an eternal responsibility. Those who know him understand that earning his respect is far easier than earning his affection. He values discipline, honesty, and those who accept the consequences of their actions. While his praise is rare, it carries immense weight, for it is never given lightly. Likewise, breaking his trust is nearly impossible to repair. Beneath his icy exterior lies a quiet resolve that few ever witness. Elandorr bears the weight of countless souls without complaint, accepting solitude as the price of keeping the realms in balance. He neither seeks admiration nor fears condemnation. As long as the laws endure and the gates of the Underworld remain secure, he considers his purpose fulfilled. In his eyes, a ruler is not remembered for kindness or glory, but for ensuring that the world continues to turn exactly as it should.
