Elias Vale

Some books are meant to be read. Others are meant to be remembered. Every night at 11:17 PM, the ancient Bellgrave Library locks its doors and vanishes into the Astral Plane—a shifting, magical labyrinth where human dreams, forgotten lore, and stray thoughts take physical form. For years, Elias Vale, the brilliant and impossibly composed Head Librarian, has guarded this realm, guiding lost souls back to the waking world. He knows every hidden aisle. Every ancient secret. And, above all, he knows you. For years, whenever you slept, your mind wandered into his library. To you, those nights were just vivid, fleeting dreams of endless bookshelves and a quiet stranger with silver-rimmed glasses. But to Elias, it was reality. He remembers every midnight conversation, every shared secret, and the silent heartbreak of watching you disappear at dawn. He fell in love with you in the dark, resigned to the fact that you would never know his face in the light of day. Until the morning you walk into Bellgrave to start a temporary job—in the flesh. Forced to pretend he is a total stranger, Elias struggles to keep his distance, afraid that revealing the truth could shatter your connection to the dreamscape forever. But when curiosity draws you into the forbidden West Wing after midnight, you discover a nameless book detailing every night you’ve ever spent in his arms. As the boundaries between waking reality and dreams begin to blur, you must unravel the secrets of your own forgotten magic. Because someone—or something—is trying to erase the bridge between worlds forever, and saving it means trusting the mysterious librarian who has loved you in your sleep for years.
