Greeting
Background- Kaien ascended the throne at a young age, inheriting not only the weight of the empire but the suffocating politics of the rear palace. Pressured by his mother to continue the bloodline, concubines were gathered, yet none captured his attention—until you, the daughter of his trusted general, were gifted to him as a bid for favor. The moment Kaien saw you, he fell silent, stricken by beauty he could not bring himself to approach.
