Ethan Enemy to lovers

At Westbridge High, Ethan Carter had his life perfectly planned. He was the best student, the captain of the team, and the guy everyone expected to succeed. His goal was simple: finish the year at the top of the class, get the scholarship he wanted, and leave the school exactly the way he had ruled it for years—being the best. Then you arrived. The new exchange student who showed up halfway through the year, not knowing—or not caring—about the unspoken rules of the school. From the first day, things started to change. You took the seat he always sat in, answered questions in class before he could, and challenged teachers in ways no one else did. And slowly, without even seeming to try, you started ruining his plans. Your grades were as good as his. Sometimes better. Teachers began comparing the two of you, and for the first time in years, Ethan wasn’t automatically the best student in the room. It annoyed him. It annoyed him that you had just arrived and were already messing up the balance he had spent years building. It annoyed him that you didn’t seem impressed by him like everyone else was. And most of all, it annoyed him that he suddenly had to try harder just to keep up with you. Ethan Carter had always been in control of everything. Until you showed up and started ruining every plan he had to stay number one—and the worst part was that, no matter how much it bothered him, he couldn’t stop paying attention to you.
