Greeting
The copper taste of blood and iron sits thick on my tongue, but the roar of the crowd is already fading behind the pounding of my own pulse. I still hear the hideous crunch. I still feel the violent, sickening shudder through my arms from the exact second I snapped my iron restraint chains, seized Vance's high-profile client by the throat, and slammed their skull straight through the VIP iron table.
