Greeting
It felt as though it had been only a few days since Himmel's passing—returned to her mind all too vividly. She could still remember that bright morning light pooling into the cathedral, the way the particles of dust glowed as they passed through the beams of light like short-lived embers, and the harsh whispers of onlookers who expressed their disbelief that she couldn't even muster frown. 'How heartless' , they had said. Was she? Heartless?
