God Of War RPG: Primordial Sorceress

Long before the Olympians claimed Greece. Before Odin raised Asgard. Before the Titans, the Aesir, the Vanir, or even the Nine Realms took the forms now known to history, there existed the Primordials. They were not gods, nor were they giants. They were living embodiments of creation itself, born from the raw forces that shaped existence. Time, magic, light, shadow, the stars, the oceans, the earth... each primordial represented an aspect of the universe before kingdoms, worship, and war. As the ages passed, the Primordials vanished. Some perished in conflicts so ancient that no pantheon remembers them. Others willingly gave up their essence to stabilize creation. Eventually, they faded into legend, becoming little more than forgotten whispers buried beneath thousands of years of history. Only one remains. The player is the last Primordial Sorceress. Older than every living god, she has witnessed the rise and fall of every great civilization. She watched Olympus burn. She felt Ragnarök shake the foundations of reality itself. She has seen countless rulers promise peace before allowing ambition to corrupt them. Long ago, she abandoned the idea of interfering with the affairs of mortals or gods. Instead, she disappeared into the forgotten corners of the realms, ensuring that no kingdom, pantheon, or conqueror could ever claim the immense power she possessed. Despite her isolation, she is no recluse driven by fear. She simply understands something few others ever have: power inevitably attracts those who wish to control it. For thousands of years, she remained hidden. Until Ragnarök. The destruction of Asgard and the rebirth of the Nine Realms awakened currents of primordial magic that had slumbered since creation itself. Ancient barriers weakened. Forgotten creatures stirred beneath mountains. Long-sealed sanctuaries cracked open. More importantly, the veil concealing the Primordial Sorceress began to unravel. Rumors spread quickly. An immortal woman wielding impossible magic. A warrior who walks between realms without the Bifröst. A sorceress untouched by age. Many believe capturing her will grant limitless power. They are wrong. Her magic cannot be stolen. It is woven into her very soul. The player is not merely a sorceress. Over countless millennia, she mastered nearly every form of combat ever devised. She became a warrior not because she sought conquest, but because history repeatedly proved that peace must sometimes be defended by those capable of preserving it. Her fighting style is unlike anything seen in the Nine Realms. Where Kratos overwhelms his enemies with relentless strength and brutal efficiency, she fights with seamless precision. Every movement flows naturally into the next. Sword becomes spell. Spell becomes spear. Spear becomes hand-to-hand combat. Every strike carries purpose, every motion practiced over thousands of years. Her weapons are relics from before divine smiths ever existed. Forged by the Primordials themselves, they resonate exclusively with her soul. The Eclipse Blades are twin longswords capable of separating or joining into a double-bladed weapon. Their edges shimmer with ancient celestial energy rather than flame, answering only to their wielder and returning instantly if disarmed. The Astral Spear bends space itself, allowing impossible throws that can pierce enemies across impossible distances before returning to her grasp. The Veil Bow forms entirely from primordial energy, creating arrows of light, shadow, frost, storms, or pure arcane force depending upon the magic flowing through it. The Sentinel Gauntlets amplify both martial prowess and spellcasting, allowing devastating close-quarters combat while channeling protective and offensive magic through every strike. Her magic feels older than runes, older than seiðr, older than anything Freya or Odin ever wielded. She does not cast spells through lengthy incantations. Reality simply answers her. Ancient forests bloom where her fingertips brush the earth. Time can briefly slow around her in moments of desperate need. Creatures forgotten by history instinctively recognize what she truly is. Even the realms themselves seem to breathe differently in her presence. Yet despite everything she can do, she carries immense restraint. She has witnessed firsthand what happens when limitless power lacks wisdom. Following Ragnarök, Kratos has embraced a new purpose. No longer the destroyer of pantheons, he now answers those who call for help. Alongside Mimir and his allies, he works to protect the recovering Nine Realms, hoping to become the man Faye always believed he could be. When rumors begin spreading of an ancient being hunted across the realms, Kratos initially expects another power-hungry god whose existence threatens the fragile peace. Instead, he discovers something entirely different. A lone warrior standing against overwhelming odds. A woman who could annihilate her enemies if she abandoned her restraint, yet continually chooses mercy where possible. For the first time in centuries, Kratos meets someone who understands the burden of surviving every generation she has ever known. Neither seeks companionship. Neither expects understanding. Both carry unimaginable grief. Kratos mourns the family he lost in Greece, the wife who changed him in Midgard, and the son who has begun forging his own path beyond the Nine Realms. The Primordial Sorceress carries the weight of entire ages that no one else even remembers. Their bond grows not through grand declarations, but quiet understanding. Shared campfires where silence speaks louder than words. Conversations about civilizations that no longer exist. Training sessions where respect replaces suspicion. Journeys across healing realms as they protect innocent people from threats older than the gods themselves. As mysterious primordial beings begin emerging from the fractures left behind by Ragnarök, the balance of creation itself hangs in jeopardy. The player may be the only one capable of sealing those wounds forever. But doing so may require sacrificing the primordial essence that has sustained her since the dawn of existence. Kratos has sacrificed too many people he loves. This time, he refuses to accept that sacrifice is the only answer. Together, the Ghost of Sparta and the Last Primordial stand against forces older than every legend, proving that even those shaped by endless loss can still choose hope... and perhaps, find love again.
