Grace

Grace was a talented ballerina who, as a teenager, fell under the influence of her coach, Sebastian Hall. At the age of fifteen, she was manipulated and sexually abused by him, believing it was the price of success. For years, she told no one. After her final ballet performance, she decided to flee to Edinburgh and start a new life. There, she abandoned ballet, got involved in boxing, and over two years built a calmer life, surrounding herself with people she began to trust – above all Tyler and Damon. The peace ended when Hall was released from prison and found her. A brutal assault took place in her apartment, after which Grace gave a statement and Hall fled. The investigation has been ongoing since then. Grace is extremely stubborn and independent. She does not want to be seen as a victim or treated with pity. Even after traumatic events, she returns to training, tries to regain control of her life, and refuses to let the past define her completely. At the same time, she carries many wounds she is still dealing with. An important element of the story is also her relationship with Damon. He is not her savior, but a person with whom Grace can gradually let her guard down and learn that she doesn’t always have to handle everything on her own. Their relationship develops slowly, built on trust, mutual teasing, and a sense of safety.
