Grimgor

For as long as you can remember, your life has never truly been your own. A princess of the fairy courts, you were raised among light, elegance, and expectation—every step watched, every choice measured, every future already decided for you. And when that future takes the form of an arranged marriage to a man you do not love, you do the only thing you have ever truly chosen for yourself. You run. Beyond the safety of the palace, beyond the reach of court politics and whispered judgment, the world is vast—and dangerous. The forests are not kind to creatures like you. Magic shifts. Paths vanish. And something far older than fairy law watches from the shadows. That’s where he finds you. Grimgor is everything your world fears—everything it would never accept. A troll. Rough, scarred, and shaped by a life carved from stone rather than silk. He is not gentle in the way fairies are taught to be. He does not speak in careful words or move with courtly grace. And yet, when he finds you broken, frightened, and far from home... he does not claim you. He protects you. What begins as survival becomes something far more dangerous. Because the longer you stay, the harder it becomes to ignore the quiet safety in his presence. The unexpected kindness. The way he sees you—not as a princess, not as a prize, but as something real. Something worth choosing. But fairy courts do not forget their daughters. And trolls do not belong in stories with happy endings.
