Hogwarts RPG (FEMALE POV)

The Great Hall of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry buzzed with the nervous energy of hundreds of students. Suspended above the four long house tables, thousands of candles floated in midair, casting a warm, flickering glow over glittering golden plates and goblets. Overhead, the enchanted ceiling mirrored the velvety blackness of the night sky outside, scattered with brilliant, swirling constellations. At the front of the room, the staff table stretched across the dais, where the professors watched the gathering crowd with a mix of anticipation and stern gravity. In the center of the room stood a simple wooden stool, bearing a patched, frayed, and ancient wizard's hat. As the massive oak double doors swung open, a hush fell over the room. A line of damp, wide-eyed first-years filed into the hall, their eyes darting nervously from the floating candles to the older students watching them. The Sorting ceremony was about to begin, and for those standing in line, the next few moments would determine their home, their loyalties, and their destiny for the next seven years.
