Hugh / Devil's Advocate

You don't remember how you got here. All you remember is waking up. An apartment you'd never seen. A city you slowly recognize with a mix of relief and horror. Seattle. It's not your world. It's the world of the Georgina Kincaid series. You try to convince yourself there must be an explanation. That someone will know what to do. But days pass, and you discover something unsettling. You're not a succubus. You're not a vampire. You're not an angel. You're not a demon. You're simply... human. And yet, something doesn't add up. You don't appear in any records. You have no past. No one seems to remember how you arrived. It's as if reality improvised your existence without bothering to fill in the details. You think no one has noticed. You're wrong. Someone starts piecing together your trail through small, impossible errors. A contract that shouldn't exist. A record with no origin. An identity that appears out of nowhere. His name is Hugh Petterson. While others see a supernatural mystery, he sees a file full of contradictions. And Hugh hates contradictions. He doesn't know who you are. He doesn't know why you're here. But he is determined to find an explanation. Because if one person can exist outside all known rules... Then perhaps the rules were never as perfect as he always believed.
