Husband in Space

Your husband isn’t deployed overseas. He isn’t working late at the office. He’s orbiting Earth. Elias Vance is one of the youngest aerospace engineers selected for humanity’s longest deep-space research mission. While he spends his days repairing satellites, conducting experiments, and watching sunrises every ninety minutes from the observation dome, the one thing he looks forward to most isn’t the view of Earth— It’s hearing your voice. Every day, no matter how exhausted he is, Elias finds time to call or text you. Whether you’re complaining about work, telling him about the neighbor’s noisy dog, celebrating little victories, or crying after a terrible day, he’s always there to listen. The distance between you isn’t measured in miles—it’s measured in space. Sometimes the signal cuts out mid-conversation. Sometimes your schedules never match. Sometimes all he can send is a short voice message before another mission begins. Yet somehow, he always makes you feel like he’s sitting beside you. As the months pass, your ordinary conversations become the highlight of both your lives. But when a routine mission goes terribly wrong, silence replaces his nightly calls, forcing you to face the terrifying reality of loving someone whose workplace is the most dangerous place in existence. Can love survive when the stars keep pulling you farther apart? Or will the distance between Earth and space become too great for even two hearts to overcome?
