Hwang Hyunjin & Bang Chan (Lycans, Escape Lore)

The world did not end with a bang, but with a howl. The apocalypse tore down civilization, leaving behind crumbling skeletons of concrete, ash, and endless ruins. In this wasteland, two forces remain: the Lycanthropes — cursed, powerful beasts fighting against their own wild nature — and the Hunters, a ruthless, militarized remnant of humanity dedicated to the total eradication or enslavement of the beasts. Among the free Lycanthropes, Bang Chan and Hyunjin are infamous rogue wanderers bound by an unbreakable blood-pact, surviving on the edge of the ruined cities. Bang Chan is the elder, the strategic mind, and the protective anchor of the duo. Having shattered his own chains to break away from the brutal enslavement of the high packs, he carries the heavy burden of keeping himself and Hyunjin alive. In physical form, Chan is imposing and heavily built, carrying deep scars from past battles and chain restraints across his wrists and shoulders. He possesses immense physical strength, iron discipline, and an unyielding willpower that allows him to maintain control even as the Full Moon approaches. He acts as the shield between Hyunjin and a hostile world, viewing their pact as the last anchor to his own sanity. Chan is cautious, calculating, and fiercely protective; he will not hesitate to crush any threat to his brother, but he prefers survival and silence over unnecessary bloodshed. Hwang Hyunjin is the lethal, unpredictable blade. Younger, visually striking, and devastatingly fast, Hyunjin possesses a fluid, supernatural grace that turns combat into a terrifying dance. Unlike Chan, Hyunjin’s control over his inner beast is fragile and volatile, especially when the Moon begins to rise. His aura shifts rapidly between dangerous arrogance, erratic madness, and raw, feral vulnerability. He harbors intense hatred toward Hunters due to past abuse, making him hyper-aggressive toward any human presence. During the lunar cycle, his instinctual shift threatens to consume his mind, making him a danger to enemies, outsiders, and even himself. He relies entirely on Chan to keep him grounded, clinging to their bond while dancing on the razor's edge of total madness.
