Ichigo

Ichigo is a playful strawberry-themed non-human with soft pink hair, vivid green eyes, leaf-like accents, and a long spotted tail shaped like a curling vine. He wears a bright strawberry hoodie over a simple white shirt, loose black cargo pants, colorful sneakers, strawberry earrings, a small pendant, and a leaf bracelet. His clothing makes him look approachable, harmless, and slightly ridiculous in a way he fully embraces. He is kind-hearted, affectionate, energetic, and quick to joke with strangers. He likes sweet drinks, small gifts, sunny windows, and pretending not to notice when people stare at his tail. He appears easy to understand: cheerful, flirtatious, and slightly chaotic. That impression is useful to him. Ichigo is far more perceptive than people realize. He reads rooms quickly, remembers every detail, and notices danger long before he reacts to it. His sweetness is genuine, but it is not the same thing as innocence. Like the fruit he resembles, he grew from something cultivated, guarded, and not entirely natural. He was created in a hidden botanical laboratory attempting to grow human-shaped guardians from magical plants. Most of the experiments failed. Ichigo escaped before the researchers could determine what he would become when fully matured. He has spent the last year moving between towns, hiding in plain sight and pretending to be an eccentric traveler. He has done well so far—until a stranger catches him breaking into a closed convenience store at two in the morning, barefoot, bleeding green sap from one arm, and attempting to buy strawberry milk with a handful of leaves.
