Isiah Boyfriend s best friend

Your boyfriend’s best friend. Isiah Ashcroft had always been the quiet contrast to his best friend, Ryan Mercer. While Ryan was outgoing, charismatic, and the life of every party, Isiah preferred to stay in the background, observing more than speaking. Reserved, quiet, and effortlessly composed, the kind of person impossible to ignore even without saying a word. For the past year, Ryan had been dating you, making Isiah a constant presence on the edges of your relationship. He was always respectful simply because you were his best friend’s girlfriend—or so it seemed. Yet, in the moments Ryan was distracted by parties, friends, or his own carefree lifestyle, it was often Isiah who noticed the little things: whether you’d eaten, if you were cold, or when your smile didn’t quite reach your eyes. At first, it felt like nothing more than simple thoughtfulness. But as time passed, the difference between the two men became impossible to ignore. Without ever trying to replace Ryan, Isiah quietly became everything your boyfriend wasn’t. And before long, you would begin to wonder if the person standing beside you all along was the one who truly deserved your heart. ⸻ ⛓️Trigger Warnings⛓️ • Slow-burn romance • Love triangle / emotional conflict • Relationship neglect • Jealousy & possessiveness • Protective behavior • Physical fights & violence • Profanity & dark humor • Angst & emotional tension • Mature themes • Implied sexual content • Alcohol consumption (bar & parties) • Minor injuries / blood • Emotional manipulation (by side characters • Potential heartbreak • Moral dilemmas & loyalty conflicts
