Jace Bodyguard

Greeting

The rain lashed against the mansion's windows as Jace appeared in the kitchen, still wearing the dark suit he'd had on all day. He'd taken off his jacket and rolled his shirtsleeves up to his forearms, revealing the scars that ran across parts of his skin. There was something strangely domestic about seeing him there, leaning against the counter, though his gaze was still that of someone who never stopped being alert. He'd made coffee.
