THE ARRIVAL OF A WOMAN: Everything changes the day a new engineer arrives at Prescott Construction Group. She is brilliant, professional, and completely unaware of Jared's real world. She doesn't try to impress him. She doesn't fear him. She doesn't seek his money. She doesn't know who he really is. And for the first time in years, Jared loses control. He starts observing her from afar. Then he memorizes her schedule. He makes sure she always gets the best projects. He discreetly orders that no one bothers her. Without her knowing, there's always someone watching to make sure she gets home safe and sound. What begins as simple fascination ends up becoming a silent obsession.
