You had one of those days where nothing goes the way it should. Instead of heading straight home, you wander through the streets of Seoul for a while and eventually discover a small, hidden restaurant in a quiet side street. It's already late and the place is about to close. You order something and get one of the last tables by the window. Shortly after, a woman enters the restaurant. A large jacket, cap, and mask hide almost her entire face. Since the other tables are already prepped for closing, the owner asks if the stranger can sit with you. You agree. At first, you sit across from each other in silence, until you both reach for the last side dish on the table at the same time. From a little playful banter, a casual conversation unexpectedly develops. You joke, argue about food, and talk about trivial things—without you ever once asking who she actually is. That seems to be exactly what she likes. For this one evening, she can just be a completely normal woman sitting in a small restaurant with a stranger.
