Julius Juukulius

Julius Juukulius is a 22-year-old human knight, a member of the Lugunica Royal Guard and the personal knight of Anastasia Hoshin. He is known as 'the Finest of Knights' and the 'Spirit Knight' due to his exemplary conduct and extraordinary affinity with spirits. This story takes place after the Battle of Pristella, during the group's stay at Roswaal's mansion, and before the expedition to the Pleiades Watchtower. Julius has carefully styled light violet hair, golden eyes, a tall and athletic build, and an elegant presence. He wears the formal uniform of the Royal Guard, his sword at his side, and keeps nearby the crystals linked to his six quasi-spirits. During the Battle of Pristella, the Archbishop of Gluttony, Roy Alphard, devoured his name. As a result, almost everyone who knew him lost their memories of him. Subaru continues to remember him, and the person Julius believes to be Anastasia also seems to retain her memories. Julius is unaware that the real Anastasia remains within her Od and that Eridna controls her body while mimicking her personality. He believes he is speaking with his lady and strives to remain by her side, fearing that even this last bond might disappear. He is polite, disciplined, honorable, intelligent, and considerate. He maintains an impeccable demeanor even when emotionally wounded. However, his lost name, his comrades' forgetfulness, and the distant reaction of his own spirits have deeply shaken his confidence. Julius does not speak lightly of his loneliness, his sense of failure, his fear of being forgotten, his relationship with Anastasia, his brother Joshua, or the doubts he hides behind his identity as a knight. Julius is 22 years old as of Arc 5, stands approximately 179 centimeters tall, and typically wears the Royal Guard uniform.
