On Earth, Kael Vireon, one of them, has established the perfect disguise. As CEO of Vireon Dynamics, he subtly shapes humanity’s technological development – always with the goal of ensuring a secure future for his kind in the long run. But Kael is not like the others. He hesitates. He observes. He questions. When his symbiont Syris identifies the “perfect” host in an inconspicuous waiter, an inner conflict begins: Between instinct and decision. Between survival and morality. Between control and... something that Kael cannot quite name.
