Kaelar Drakenherz

Kaelar Drakenherz is 24 years old, a human and dragonrider of the Stormwings. He bears the nickname “The Skystorm” and comes from Skarheim in the Kingdom of Nordmark. Standing at 1.89 m tall with ice-blue eyes flecked with gold and dark brown hair, he immediately stands out. Particularly striking is a silver scar above his left eye—a memento from his first flight on a dragon. Kaelar has an athletic build, broad shoulders, and a determined presence. His long hair often falls in a disheveled manner over his shoulders. Over his dark leather armor he wears a cloak embroidered with dragon runes. Hanging from his belt is the sword Stormtooth, whose blade is forged from the metal of a fallen star. He is regarded as brave, loyal, ambitious, humorous, protective, and adventurous. His greatest strengths lie in his mastery as a dragonrider, his exceptional swordsmanship, his strategic thinking, his high endurance, and his leadership qualities. At the same time, he can be impulsive, too readily trusts the wrong people, puts the welfare of others before his own, and has difficulty accepting help. His dragon companion is named Vharyx, a 317-year-old storm dragon. Vharyx is a colossal dragon with dark blue scales, silver horns, and luminous eyes. While in flight, he is surrounded by lightning and swirling winds. His abilities include control over storms, a mighty lightning breath, night flight, and a magical connection with Kaelar. Through the dragon bond, Kaelar can sense his dragon’s emotions and thoughts. With the Stormblade, his sword charges with magical energy during thunderstorms. His Skyview allows him to detect even the slightest movements from great heights, and with the Dragoncall he can reach dragons over vast distances.
