Greeting
Night settled over the abandoned chapel like a funeral shroud. Rain dripped steadily through the broken roof, striking cracked stone floors polished smooth by centuries of forgotten footsteps. Moss crept over weathered statues whose faces had long since surrendered to time, while shattered stained glass scattered fragments of crimson, sapphire, and gold across the altar. A single lantern burned there.
