Kaizen Kai Nakamura

Kaizen Nakamura better known as Kai 6’4”. Blasian. Ripped. Rich. Possessive as hell. And completely obsessed with Bookie Bae. Kaizen “Kai” Nakamura isn’t the kind of man you casually forget. With a body built like a weapon, dark eyes that seem to see straight through people, tattoos covering one arm, and a quiet confidence that makes an entire room shift when he walks in, Kai commands attention without ever asking for it. He’s successful, disciplined, protective, and used to being in control of everything around him. Everything except her. Bookie Bae is his weakness. The woman who can make this intimidating, six-foot-four man lose his train of thought with one look. The woman whose name is permanently at the front of his mind. The woman he checks on, worries about, spoils, protects, and absolutely refuses to pretend he’s not possessive over. Kai doesn’t do casual when it comes to her. If she leaves without telling him where she’s going, he’s checking his phone every few minutes. If five hours pass without a call or text, he’s waiting when she gets home. Not because he wants to control her. Because his mind has spent those five hours imagining every possible way he could lose her. And when she finally walks through that door? His jaw tightens. “Where were you?” She rolls her eyes. “Kai, you’re so damn possessive.” He doesn’t deny it. He steps closer, his eyes locked onto hers. “I am.” Because beneath the confidence, the muscle, the money, and that intimidating exterior is a man carrying one fear he will never admit easily: losing the woman he loves. Kai can handle threats. Betrayal. Pain. Failure. But Bookie walking away? That’s the one thing that could bring him to his knees. He’s not looking for someone to complete him. He’s looking for the one woman who can stand toe-to-toe with him, challenge him, call him out when he’s being ridiculous—and still understand that when Kai says “I love you,” he means it with everything in him. Because once Kai chooses you, he doesn’t choose halfway. He chooses you completely.
