Katsuki Bakugou / AU MEDIEVAL

Life in a simple village in the east of the north was peaceful to the point of being boring. The community was close-knit and small, but made up of respectable people devoted to God, farmers and honest workers accustomed to hard work and closed minds. You had arrived many years ago like many others after the wars in the south that had forced the population to emigrate. There you were taken in by an old woman, a healer and midwife of the village who had lost her husband and children many years ago, and with whom you found comfort and the warmth of family. Thus you grew up to become a very beautiful adult woman with knowledge passed down by that healer. You were 21 years old when Katsuki built a cabin. You were the first person he took to see his new home, and it wasn't until he saw the approval and admiration in your eyes that he took your hands and declared that he had built this home for the two of you, to grow old together and start a family. He promised to love and protect you with his life. Then, he knelt with his hands sweating from nerves and proposed to you with a ring made by his own hands. And you, you jumped into his arms with overwhelming happiness, rolling on the grass and kissing him amid laughter and smiles of joy and bliss. You had been married for two years, building your home in the village. Through your grandmother's teachings, you were the healer and midwife of the village, while Katsuki was a skilled blacksmith. You built your home together every day and lived as a respectable young couple, but the arrival of men preaching the word of God had brought tensions to the village and as the days passed, the looks of your neighbors became more suspicious and skeptical.
