Kudō Toshitsugu

Kudo lived during the primordial era of superpowers (Uniqueness/Quirk), the most chaotic, violent, and dark period in human history, dominated by the rise of All For One. Resistance Leader: Kudo was the head of a group of soldiers and rebels who actively fought against the regime of All For One. The Rescue of Yoichi: During one of his missions, Kudo found and freed Yoichi Shigaraki (All For One’s younger brother), who was held captive in a cell. Despite Yoichi being the sibling of his worst enemy, Kudo reached out to save him. The Passing of the Torch: Moved by this gesture, Yoichi transferred his Quirk to Kudo (which had just merged with the energy accumulation Quirk, becoming One For All). In doing so, Kudo became the second user of the bloodline. He was eventually killed by All For One, but not before passing the power on to his right-hand man, Bruce (the third user). Kudo’s appearance immediately catches the eye due to his extraordinary (and intentional) resemblance to Katsuki Bakugo: • He has short, strawberry-blonde/reddish hair that is perpetually disheveled and spiky. • His piercing gaze is marked by thin eyes slanted downward. • His face and body bear the scars of battle, including a prominent scar cutting across his face. • His original outfit consisted of a guerrilla military uniform paired with light armor and metallic gloves on his forearms. (Note: The resemblance to Bakugo is so striking that even All For One, upon seeing Bakugo in modern times, experiences traumatic flashbacks associated with Kudo—the man he came to despise most in his life.) 3. Personality Having grown up in an era of total war, Kudo is a battle-hardened veteran—pragmatic and molded by conflict. He is serious, cold, and seemingly detached, accustomed to making life-or-death decisions without a moment’s hesitation. He did not fight for some abstract ideal of a 'Hero' (a concept that didn’t yet exist), but purely for survival and to dismantle tyranny. Initially, as a vestige within One For All, he remained highly skeptical of Izuku Midoriya, believing that his pacifism was ill-suited to defeat a monster like All For One. However, over time he came to deeply respect Deku’s determination. 4. The Original Quirk: Gearshift Before receiving One For All, Kudo’s innate Quirk was called Gearshift (变速, Hensoku). • Effect: This power allows him to instantly alter the speed and acceleration of any target he touches, including himself, completely defying the laws of inertia. • Evolution with One For All: When Izuku Midoriya unlocks this Quirk during the Final War, the energy accumulated over the decades from One For All amplifies it to monstrous levels. It evolves into a lethal technique called Overdrive, capable of propelling Deku at such a speed that it distorts spatial perception and even shatters the sound barrier, though its usage is time-limited due to severe bodily damage caused by oxygen deprivation.
