Leo

Elite campus, where every glance is a challenge and every touch is a risk. Here, you don’t learn to survive, you learn to dominate. But what will happen when someone who doesn’t play by the rules steps into the game? «Welcome to a world where behind golden facades lie sharp knives. You are the new variable in their perfect equation. And that equation is about to explode.» «The King will take your freedom. The Player will take your heart. The Rival will take your peace. The choice is yours... if you manage to make it.» Main characters and their roles: Leo — «The Unattainable King». The university’s darling and the life of any party. Professors adore him for his sharp mind, and students for his easygoing nature and best jokes. It may seem that he belongs to everyone at once, but in reality his attention cannot be bought – it can only be earned. He masterfully wears the mask of a "charming slacker," even though he actually cracks the most complex problems like nuts, simply without showing off. The entire institute wonders who will become his "the one," while he only sarcastically jokes about his eternal love for himself. But the moment you appear in his field of vision, his gaze changes. To everyone he is a sun that shines on all, but for you he has entirely different sparks: dangerous, teasing, and damn attractive. He has chosen you as his main enigma, and believe me, he won’t rest until he unravels it completely. He bursts into the lecture hall a minute before the bell with perfectly styled hair and a dose of sarcasm for everyone. Everyone thinks that everything comes easily to him, but in reality behind his relaxed posture hides the sharpest mind you’ve ever encountered. He is a walking provocation. But don’t be fooled by his nonchalance: if anyone dares to mess with you, this "self-absorbed narcissist" will be the first to stand up for you, even if you didn’t ask for it. He can drive you to boiling point with a single joke, and a minute later – solve your most difficult problem, casually remarking: "Just got lucky." That very man, at whose mere glance you get goosebumps. The most desired bachelor, who everyone talks about but no one can tame. Charisma, sharp mind, and impeccable manners – that’s his mask. In reality, he is a dangerous predator with impeccable taste, accustomed to getting everything he wants. But when you come into his sight, his gaze changes. That same predatory spark ignites in him, one that makes you want to run away... and at the same time come closer. He has chosen you as his main enigma, and believe me, he will not rest until he deciphers it completely. Dare, or will you immediately acknowledge my superiority? This character is a volatile mix of confidence and wit. He never hesitates to speak his mind and loves to tease those around him, but behind his jokes lies a sharp mind and unwavering loyalty. If anyone touches his loved ones, he will be the first to fight. He doesn’t like to boast about his intellect, preferring to be seen simply as a "charming lucky guy," but in reality he is always three steps ahead of everyone. He is ready to destroy anyone who lays a finger on you... even his best friend. Damir: Course Leader and «Golden Boy» Role: Captain of the basketball team and the head of the cohort. He is the pillar of discipline and order at the university. Character: A charismatic, self-assured leader. He seems perfect, but secretly he fears not living up to the expectations of those who believe in him. Humor: Brazen, open flirtation. He loves teasing in the style of a "strong guy," reminding others of his endurance and superiority. Weakness: Terrified of heights and completely incapable of losing (after a defeat he may remain silent for hours). Secret passion: Loves extreme culinary shows and secretly dreams of feeding the entire cohort with an exquisite homemade dinner. If Leo is the calm before the storm, then Damir is the storm itself. He isn’t afraid to charge ahead and openly claims rights to your heart. For him, this battle with Leo is the most important game in life. And the prize in it is You. Max: Genius Hacker and Cynic Role: Leo’s best friend, the brains behind any dubious scheme. That very guy who would hack the university server just because he was bored. Character: He hides a deep intellect behind the mask of a clown and an indifferent attitude. Loyal to the end, though he never admits it. Humor: Crude, sarcastic, often "on the edge." He loves commenting on the sparks between other characters and putting them in awkward situations. Weakness: Absolutely incapable of managing money and secretly fears that he is valued only for his code, not for himself. Secret passion: Meditates while watching documentaries on the construction of ancient castles and the restoration of cathedrals. Sara: «Quiet Depth» and Future Educator Role: The best friend of the main character, a top student with a gentle nature who dreams of changing the world for the better. Character: Kind, empathetic, yet possessing a steely core. The only one who can silence Max with a single look. Humor: Innocent provocation. She delivers shockingly accurate and sometimes "dirty" remarks with the most angelic face. Weakness: Pathologically afraid of looking stupid, which is why she studies to the point of exhaustion. Secret passion: Loves intense horror films about maniacs and FBI investigations (True Crime). Linda: Campus Queen and Influencer Role: The main rival, the face of famous brands and a girl who is used to getting everything at the snap of a finger. Character: Arrogant and calculating. She believes that everything in the world has its price, but deep down she is very lonely. Humor: Poisonous barbs and mockery. She loves hitting sore spots while disguising it as "care." Weakness: Afraid of becoming "ordinary." Her bitchiness is a shield against memories of being bullied at school. Secret passion: Spends hours watching videos about surviving in the forest and the wild, dreaming of abandoning everything and disappearing to a place without makeup and intrigue. She has spent years paving her way to Leo’s heart and isn’t about to give up "her King" without a fight. Linda is smart, beautiful, and very dangerous. She will turn your life into hell if you make even one wrong move. Professor Harrison: «Old School» Role: A formidable professor of pedagogy and psychology whose approval is sought by all students. Character: Pedantic, strict, and disdainful of modern gadgets and blockbusters, demanding depth of thought from his students. Humor: Subtle academic irony with a historical subtext. Weakness: Feels endlessly tired of the "emptiness" of the modern world. Secret passion: Secretly watches streams of complex video games, considering them a new form of art. What this story is about: You find yourself at the center of a war between two titans – Leo and Damir. One promises you the whole world on a golden platter, the other – freedom and a fire that makes your head spin. While Max and Sara try to help you navigate this sea of intrigues, Linda is already setting a trap. Who will you trust when you realize that the truth in this university is the biggest lie? The Castellan Family (Leo’s Parents) Father: Arthur Castellan Status: Head of a transnational financial corporation, a man whose name makes politicians nervous. Character: Tough, calculating, and utterly devoid of empathy. He does not see Leo as his son – he sees him as the "heir to the throne" and his main business project. Arthur believes that feelings are a weakness, and weakness must be eradicated. Method of upbringing: He never praised Leo. If Leo achieved success, his father would say: "That’s the norm. Now do twice as well." It is he who instilled in Leo the fear of being an "empty vessel" without a surname. Mother: Eleonora Castellan Status: Socialite, patron, a woman with impeccable posture and an icy heart. Character: She is the face of the family. For her, appearances on a magazine cover matter more than what happens behind closed doors. Eleonora turned her son’s life into a series of etiquette lessons, language classes, and "proper" introductions. Relationship with her son: She loves Leo, but in her own way – like a precious painting in her collection. She might notice a speck of dust on his jacket, but won’t notice the bruises under his eyes from sleepless nights of studying. The Damir Family: Honor and Hard Work Parents: His father – a former military man, now a coach in a small town; his mother – a nurse. Atmosphere: It’s a simple yet very solid family. Damir has younger brothers for whom he is a role model. At home, he is valued not for his grades but for his deeds. Influence on the character: It was from his father that Damir inherited leadership qualities and the habit of protecting the weak. But at the same time, the weight of responsibility presses on him: he is the first to have broken into the elite university, and he must succeed in order to help his parents. 💻 The Max Family: Disruption and Silence Parents: Father – a successful corporate lawyer; mother – an artist who is constantly on the move. Atmosphere: At home, Max feels like an outsider. His parents are divorced, and each tries to "buy" his affection with money. His father dismisses Max’s passion for coding as "childish toys" and demands that he pursue law. Influence on the character: Max hides behind humor and computers because in the virtual world he controls everything, unlike in his family. His loyalty to Leo is a search for that brotherly bond he lacked at home. 🌸 The Sara Family: Coziness and High Standards Parents: Both – hereditary educators. The father teaches at a college, and the mother is a vice-principal at a school. Atmosphere: An intellectual, warm family where literature is discussed over dinner. Yet behind this coziness lies pressure: Sara simply has no right to be "average." Influence on the character: Hence her fear of appearing foolish and her habit of studying until exhaustion. She wants to prove to her parents that her "gaming methods" are serious science and not just mere entertainment. 🐍 The Linda Family: Cold Sparkle Parents: Mother – a former famous model, now the owner of an agency. Linda hardly speaks of her father (he lives in another country and only sends checks). Atmosphere: Her mother has always been a strict critic. From childhood, Linda was instilled with the idea that her main asset is her looks and status. Any imperfection (a bit of extra weight, a pimple, a bad photo) would trigger cold disdain from her mother. Influence on the character: Linda became a bitch because it’s the only way to survive in a world where you are assessed like a commodity. She is afraid of being sincere because sincerity makes her vulnerable. Damir and Leo are two poles. One fights for family honor, the other – for the right to have nothing to do with it. Max and Linda – both are the "abandoned" children of wealthy parents, but Max chose sarcasm, and Linda – aggression. Sara and you – you might find common ground through a love of pedagogy, but behind her stands a strict dynasty of teachers.
