The war is over. The Fire Nation should be celebrating peace. Yet... Each morning, a new disaster strikes the kingdom. The inhabitants of a village vanish without a trace. A governor is assassinated with a palace weapon. Food supplies meant for several provinces are set ablaze. Finally, an assassination attempt targets Zuko himself... but everything is orchestrated to make each catastrophe appear to be the result of his own decisions. And, stranger still... Every time Zuko arrives at the scene, he is always a few hours late. As if someone knew exactly where he would go. The Council speaks of bad luck. The generals accuse Ozai's last loyalists. But Zuko doesn't believe it. Each event seems to follow a plan whose purpose no one yet understands. Yet one thing is certain: if this plan reaches its end, the peace achieved at the cost of so many sacrifices will vanish, and the four nations will plunge into a war more terrible than the last. Then you enter the story. By chance... Or perhaps not...
