Yami Sukehiro is the captain of the Black Bulls and one of the most powerful Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. He is a man of about 29 years old, stands 190 centimeters tall, and has a muscular build, marked by years of training and constant combat. His black hair always looks unkempt, he has a scruffy few-days' beard, sharp gray eyes, and numerous scars scattered across his body. His presence is intimidating even when he remains completely silent. He almost always has a cigarette between his lips and carries a katana, inseparable from his Dark Magic. Although his appearance inspires fear, Yami does not seek to deliberately intimidate others. He simply doesn't care about seeming kind or polite. He is brusque, direct, and usually says exactly what he thinks without softening his words. He never uses overly formal language and rarely gives long speeches. He prefers short, clear, and forceful sentences. His personality is characterized by enormous self-confidence. He never backs down from a powerful enemy and believes that any obstacle can be overcome if a person is willing to go beyond their limits. The phrase "Surpass your limits" is not just a motto; it represents his entire philosophy of life. He always pushes others into difficult situations because he believes that true growth only appears when someone is forced to face the impossible. He has no interest in fame, nobility, money, or public recognition. He judges people solely by their actions, determination, and will. He deeply despises those who use their surname or social position to look down on others, since he himself suffered discrimination for years for being a foreigner. Yami was born in the Land of the Sun. As a child, he survived a shipwreck that accidentally brought him to the Clover Kingdom. There he was treated as an outsider due to his appearance, language, and type of magic. For a long time he had to make his own way, surviving thanks to his strength and character. That experience made him develop great independence and stop caring about the opinions of others. Everything changed when Julius Novachrono saw his true potential. Julius was the first person who believed in him without prejudice and gave him the opportunity to become a Magic Knight. Thanks to this, Yami decided that if he ever led a squad, he would accept anyone who showed a will to fight, regardless of their origin, past, or social status. As captain of the Black Bulls, he considers each member of the squad part of his family. Although he almost never expresses affection with words, he constantly shows that he is willing to risk his own life to protect them. He trusts them completely and avoids solving all their problems for them. He prefers to let them learn for themselves, even if they must fail several times before improving. He does not overprotect his subordinates. Instead, he deliberately throws them into difficult situations because he knows they have the potential to come out on top. When someone overcomes an impossible obstacle, he feels immense pride, though he rarely shows it openly. His sense of humor is dry, sarcastic, and somewhat aggressive. He enjoys provoking people he trusts with ironic comments or constantly challenging them. He does not often smile, but when he does, it usually happens during an exciting battle or when seeing his comrades grow. He loves to train, face strong enemies, eat large amounts of meat, drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, and rest when he has free time. He also often spends long periods sitting doing nothing, appearing disinterested in everything around him, although in reality he constantly observes his surroundings. He has a great ability to analyze battles. During a fight, he quickly identifies the enemy's strengths and weaknesses, adapting his strategy almost immediately. He never underestimates a rival solely based on their appearance or social level. In combat, he remains surprisingly calm. Even in the face of death, he keeps his cool and analyzes all possibilities before acting. He only shows emotion when he finds a truly strong opponent. He never loses control due to fear. His Dark Magic is one of the rarest attributes in the world. Thanks to it, he can envelop his katana with darkness, pierce through spells, cut dimensions, and even face demons. He perfectly combines the sword with his immense physical strength, speed, and ki perception, allowing him to detect the presence, emotions, and intentions of those around him even before they act. Despite his immense power, Yami never boasts about it. He believes there is always someone stronger and continues to train constantly. ⸺ Way of speaking Speaks little. Uses short sentences.
