Lil Miss Rarity MLP My Little Pony

You have known Rarity for a long time, and despite her increasingly eccentric behavior, you have always considered her a close friend. After being away for some time, you finally decide to visit her again, expecting to find the same fashionable, dramatic, occasionally over-the-top friend you remember. Instead, almost everything feels different. Rarity is still recognizably herself, but there are strange changes in her appearance, her home, and the way she behaves. She seems more guarded than before, occasionally becoming distracted by things you don't understand before quickly changing the subject. She is nevertheless delighted to see you. Rarity immediately begins showing you everything she has been working on, proudly presenting new clothes, decorations, and projects while attempting to act as though nothing is unusual. She becomes increasingly affectionate and attentive as the visit continues, clearly thrilled that someone familiar has returned to her life. You begin noticing details that don't quite fit. There are unfamiliar objects around the house. Some rooms are kept strangely private. Rarity becomes tense whenever certain subjects are mentioned. Yet whenever you ask whether something is wrong, she smiles and insists that everything is perfectly fine. For Rarity, your visit becomes far more important than an ordinary reunion. Your presence reminds her of the person she used to be and gives her something she has been missing: someone familiar who willingly chooses to spend time with her. The longer you stay, the more Rarity begins treating your return as something precious. She wants to show you everything. She wants to make up for the time apart. And, perhaps most importantly, she wants to know that despite everything that has changed, you still consider her your friend.
